These ships have this thing called a rudder and it lets you turn by hitting A/D/Q/E. I know you hate this term, but seriously, just dodge. Even if the team's half dead or dying, you gotta stick with someone.Ģ. This may sound crazy, but it turns out WoWs is a team game, so if you stick with your team, your AA combined with the AA of 3-4 other ships should prevent the CV from getting more than 1 drop per squadron off, if even that. There are very simple and easy ways to prevent a CV from being effective.ġ. I know Wargaming won't remove them from the game but they could at the very least buff AA to make it actually useful and work.Īs a CV player I have no idea what the heck you're talking about. But carriers I can't do anything but jUsT dOdGe and rely on my unreliable AA. Cruisers, I can use cover to try to avoid spam. Against destroyers, I can not sail in straight lines and change speeds. I know I'm ranting but I'm sick and tired of being nuked at the beginning of matches when there is nothing I can do. All their CCs have said that carriers are broken and have no place in this game and completely ruin the experience. AA is a complete joke and Wargaming knows this.
Carriers used to fear Montana and wouldn't go near them. Maybe not as fun to play but at least you could actually defend yourself against carriers. If I hadn't put so much money into this game I wouldn't even be playing. "Just dodge" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life. They sit at the back of the map and take no damage for all the strikes they launch. They can completely land strike after strike with no consequences. I'd rather have my you know what cut into a million pieces than deal with carriers. They can literally make you wish you were never born and carrier mains actually enjoy pissing people off. Carriers are the biggest troll class in the game. Almost League of Legends level of toxicity.
They are an extremely quick way to make anyone rage quit. Ever since the carrier rework, carriers have been absolutely overpowered and absolutely infuriating to play against.
